Accreditation and awards

Updated for 2025, every Safer Food Group course carries an accreditation package matched by few online food safety or health & safety training providers. This page explains exactly what that accreditation is, what it means for you and your business, and how to verify it.

What every course includes

• Endorsed by an Ofqual-recognised awarding organisation. Our courses are endorsed awards from Qualifi, an Ofqual-recognised UK awarding organisation, benchmarked at Level 1, 2 or 3 equivalents.
• EHO-approved syllabus. Every course follows or exceeds the Environmental Health Officer (EHO) approved syllabus, and is subject to regular external audit by our industry experts.
• CPD-registered. Each course carries a CPD credit statement for anyone maintaining a professional development portfolio.
• A permanent, verifiable training record. Every learner gets a permanent study-and-achievement record available for EHO inspection, the basis of a strong due-diligence defence.
  

What this means - and what it doesn’t

What it means: your certificate is endorsed by a nationally recognised, Ofqual-recognised awarding body, follows the EHO syllabus, and gives you an inspection-ready record.

What it doesn’t mean: an endorsed award is not the same as a regulated qualification listed on the Ofqual register. If your specific role or contract requires a regulated qualification, check that requirement before purchasing - and call us, we’re happy to advise and can offer RSPH paper-based examinations.

Why this matters more than “CPD only”

Many providers cite CPD as their only accreditation. CPD recognises learning activity, but it isn’t a certificated qualification from an Ofqual recognised awarding organisation. Our package goes further: an awarding-body endorsement, an EHO-approved syllabus, external audit and a permanent achievement record.
